You can view the individual record of any supporter in Organise, including their history of engagement with the party and their communication and volunteering preferences. Just click on their name in the People table or search for them.
Search for an individual
To find an individual, use the search icon in the top right corner of any screen. You can search for someone based on their name, email address, or membership number, and it will take you directly to their individual record.
Personal, Membership, and Electoral Information
Every Organise user can view basic information about a supporter in Organise, such as their name, age, postcode, join date, membership status, and electoral areas.
Explicit contact information, such as the supporter’s email, phone number and address, is limited to CLP Secretaries, Branch Secretaries and Vice-Chairs (Membership). This is to ensure that everyone in the party uses Organise and Dialogue to contact supporters wherever possible, as these systems will automatically honour supporters’ communication preferences.
If a record is for a current member or ex-member, any personal details will need to be changed in Admin Hub which connects to our core membership system. If they have never been a member (for instance, they have just signed up to an event), then you can change their details directly in Organise.
Additional Information
Organise allows you to store additional information about supporters that could be useful to you and others.
This includes specific Skills this supporter has, Issue Areas they are interested in, and any Other Tags.
Using these tags will not only make it easier for you to manage your local supporters, it also means everything you know about these supporters can be shared with other parts of the party and any future organisers in your area.
Communication Information
On this page, you can see a supporter’s communication preferences across different levels of the party and different channels, that is SMS, Phone, and Email.
If someone has unsubscribed from all emails or marked them as spam, you should see this recorded here as well. For more information about what these statuses mean see How to check the results of an email.
In this area you can also see all the Lists this supporter is on and the record of local contact with them.
Volunteering Information
Finally, the individual supporter page shows you a person’s volunteering preferences and activity.
There are five types of volunteering activity:
- Events
- Canvassing
- Leafletting
- Phone-banking
- Office Tasks
For each of these, Organise users can set the supporter’s level of experience in that activity: from an initial display of interest (for instance, signing up on the volunteer form), to being a Team Lead who can help co-ordinate activities (for instance, a board runner).
In this area you can also see and edit someone’s availability on different days and times, and see the history of events where they have RSVPed or Signed In.
