Using a QR Code or Share Link too add team members in GOTV mode is very similar to VID mode. Adding volunteers to a road group is exactly the same - the volunteer will be added to only one road group and will see no properties until they are assigned and won't be able to enter any data.

Adding a board runner works slightly differently. If you add a board runner via the session page, you will be prompted to choose which road groups you would like to add them to. You can select all road groups, multiple road groups or a single road group. Select the road groups you want to add a board runner to and click Add Team Member. If you had selected to share with QR code, you can now scan the QR code of the board runner you are adding and they will be added to the road group(s) you have selected. If you selected Share Link, a link will be generated which you can send to the board runner via an email or message and when they have clicked to join they will be added to the road group(s) you have selected.

If you add a board runner via the road group page, the board runner will be added to just that road group. This is different to VID mode as adding a board runner via the road group in a VID session will automatically add them to all road groups in that session.

Board runners are able to start and end road groups, add more team members and enter data in a GOTV session. They are not able to start and end the whole session: only the session creator can start and end a GOTV session.
